Worship & Music

As United Methodist Christians, we believe that the public worship of God is a means of grace and is essential for growing in Christian discipleship. God speaks and acts through the proclamation and enactment of the divine saving deeds and we respond to these deeds with praise and worship.

We believe that worship begins with God, that God comes to us, initiates a relationship with us, and we respond to God’s action with praise and thanksgiving. God has made us for God's self and we will not be whole or at peace with God until we have given ourselves in worship to God.

As a means of grace, worship is designed to encounter the God who created us, who continues to redeem us, and who sustains us through every moment of every day.

Being Christ centered, life altering, divinely gifted, grace-filled, and transformational, worship is first and foremost truth. With Christ as our center, style, technique, and excellence are instruments used to keep us focused.

We invite you to celebrate in worship with us as we seek to be faithful to God’s call through music, scripture, and prayer.
