Young Adult Ministries
uMatter to us!uMatter is HPCUMC’s ministry for young adults. We strive to create a community in which we can grow and learn together, strengthening our relationships with God and each other. uMatter offers social (uGather), spiritual (uGrow), and service (uServe) programs for young adults. Young Adults Sunday School
Join us at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the Fireside Room (across from the Little Theater) as we meet for Bible study and lively discussion to learn about God and explore what it means to live out our faith in the real world.
uGather Sunday Lunches
Meet us in the Welcome Center after the 10:50 and 11 a.m. services, and join the group for lunch on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. We decide on a restaurant as a group. Contact Tiffany Kreutzer.
uGather First Friday Gathering
Join us from 5:30-7:30pm on the 1st Friday of every month for fun, food, and fellowship at local eateries. Locations vary by month, so check in on Facebook! Contact Emily Hines.
uGrow Women’s Group
Single? Married? Career woman or stay-at-home mom? Join this group of young adult women for fellowship and spiritual growth. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 7:00-9:00pm at the home of Calissa Kummer (2407 Madison Ave., Norwood). Contact Calissa at 578-4138.
uGrow Men’s Group
Join this group of young adult men to build friendships, learn about God, and have some fun. The group meets on the 3rd Friday of every month. Contact Phil Jensen at for more details and to get involved.
Also, drop by the Welcome Center after the 11:00 service every week to mingle with other young adults and other members of the Hyde Park community!
