In cases of personal and family emergencies, contact "on-call" pastoral staff (513) 979-8400Pages are answered immediately. If it is your wish, other church staff will be notified on your behalf for prayer and hospital visitation.
Hospitalizations
Laws protecting patient confidentiality prohibit hospitals from informing churches about member admissions. To ensure that HPCUMC’s pastoral staff is aware of a family member's hospitalization—or to request a hospital visit—contact Parish Visitor Marietta Garber (513) 979-8196 or (513) 321-1995.
Please include pertinent details about the patient's admission:
- name of hospital (including location)
- date of admission
- condition of the patient
Privacy
Please note that patient privacy is of paramount importance, so public announcements (e.g.“Family News”) will only be printed at the patient's/family's request.
In the event of schedule conflicts among pastoral staff, Stephen Ministers (trained laypersons) fill this role.
