Vacation Bible School Registration Sunday, April 15th
Join us for a fun week of Vacation Bible School where we will experience Adventures on Promise Island! Our VBS adventure will start on Monday June 18th and last all week from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Each day will include games, crafts, snacks, music and a Bible lesson. Kids will learn about God’s Promises! Register on Sunday, April 15th starting at 9:00 am in the Welcome Center.


Connect in the Middle is a group for adults in "the middle" ....juggling the demands/joys of children, aging parents, careers, and a real connection with Christ.   We are currently studying the book, Unbinding the Gospel by Martha Grace Reese.  There are 2 class options: Sunday mornings @ 9:30 or Saturdays @ 5 p.m.

Save the Date: October 6, 2012, a workshop lead by author, spiritual director and retreat leader, Jane Vennard. Jane is the author of several books including The Way of Prayer (Companions in Christ).


CareWidow and Widowers Support group will sponsor a musical performance by the Mt.Auburn Prebyterian Choir on May 20th, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

GriefShare Ministry is for people who are grieving the death of a loved one.  This is a Christ centered, video based, grief recovery ministry.  Gathering every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. in Rm. 113, each session is self-contained and you can begin at any time.  Led by Bonnie Stowell and Diana Mitts.

Stephen Ministers provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care for those who experiencing difficulties in their lives.  We all experience challenges in life, and times when we could benefit from the support of a caring Christian friend.  Contact Bonnie Stowell.

12 Step Recovery Ministry meets Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. Coffee and childcare provided. For more information, contact SueLee Jin or call the church office at 871-1345.
 


Communications

A new Technology Team is forming at HPCUMC. Members of this team will have the opportunity to help support all the ministries of HPCUMC by serving as sound and/or video technicians on Sunday mornings and for special projects. All team members will be adequately trained at their own speed and convenience. Contact Kyle Tieman or Cindy Ware.
